Faster and easiest way to do this is to use WineHQ, just install wine and every win application can be handled on your side. The most often noticeable bug is missing some microsoft fonts for adobe photoshop UI, damn adobe... why do you have to integrate microsoft fonts inside photoshop? :D

The best way to developing MVC 5 on Linux for my situation is virtualization. Virtualized Windows in VMWare station is so fast, that you wouldn't notice any difference from real installation. There is no need to partitioning or dual boot just for develop on Visual Studio.
